Avshalom Mane: Growing up in a family of designers and builders, a career in wood and metal craft was a natural choice For Avshalom Mane. In 2006, upon completing his studies in literature and philosophy Avshalom Mane Joined his father, Zele Mane, who at the time designing and building several custom homes in Santa Barbara. As these projects were ongoing Avshalom and Zele began collaborating to create the Zele furniture line. In 2012 Avshalom established the Zele Studio in Santa Monica and became exclusively devoted making furniture and Cabinetry.
Zele Mane began his career as an abstract painter. Intent on broadening the scope of his esthetic ideals into the functional arts he began to build homes and design furniture. On being commissioned to design and build a series of Custom modern homes in Santa Barbara California, in 2001 Zele established Zele Company.
